Why would it be damaging?
Kear was appointed into the same role with Chester and had an immediate impact on the teams performances especially in defence
Whether it’s perceived as positive or not all depends on how it’s publicised and pitched to the fans
The only potential negative is Carters relationship with Brian Smith and whether that would effect his relationship with Tony
