Not the point. He has 'star quality' in a team that has very little. He and Fifita are the only players we have who other fans envy. They respect many of our team but thats not the same.

Fifita and Tom win games it's that simple. Between them they have won us at a guess 30% of our games in the last six years. Without that we'd be lining up against Batley this weekend.

Yes RL is a team game but at this level it's also a sport for individual brilliance, without it you won't win and you won't stay up.

Murphy is on the way up and he's done really well but he's not there yet and he might never be, too early to say. However, he and Kershaw do give us some leeway that we didn't have a few years back. So we need to keep Tom injuries or no injuries, whether we can is up to him. iIf he does goes now its a big blow but it's not the disaster it once would have been, we have been lucky.

How can anyone win games when there not on pitch,the fact that the deal tom as been based on games played says it allfor me murphy is already on par with tom defensively and i believe will be as good as tom in the near future attack wise

I agree both are box office when teams are looking for revenue. It’s not the same for most of SL who have rich backers but for us it’s the players.
