I once set a time lapse camera up to record the complete new build of an industrial plant. One shot every 20 minutes from a rigid fixed high point using a pretty expensive Nikon with equally expensive lens. Needed to change the card and clean the lens every two weeks over a period of about 1 year. The finished article looked really good set to music. Saw a few meteorites too.

Went down about 3:30 (earliest I could get there) and volunteers had gone. Was told there are more seats to take out so I'll try again tomorrow morning. Was told there's quite a lot to do before the wrecking balls come in - lots of electrical work to do and make safe, roof etc. Said about two weeks before things start being demolished. If I get any more info tomorrow I'll post and let you know.
