I am not normally one for singling out players for criticism but I thought he was really poor today apart from the 40 20. I have never thought he was really captain material.. He doesn't appear to show leadership when we go behind. For me we should let him go . We should be trying to keep players like Batch who always give 100 percent and despite his stupidity today we need to keep Fifita and stop wasting money on over 30s players who have been rejected by other clubs .
LMS is 36 and shows more pride , passion and effort than most of our players at half his age .Props are coming into their prime at around 30 , its not the signing of players of any age , it’s getting players that want to play for us ,that’s the problem ,and not treating us as a holiday camp ,or retirement home . Oust them at the earliest opportunity I say ,clear the decks . On a personal note I couldn’t give a monkeys if their 19 or 29 as long as they put the effort in and show pride in wearing the shirt ,something that has been sadly lacking for far too long by far too many ,and it’s simply unsustainable.
