Just to give some balance. I'm over 50 and I have FB and Twitter. And so does my dad.
It isn't an age thing. Just a choice.
Not necessarily a choice, could be economic, could be a 'technology thing (ie can't adapt to), could be that they don't want to be blitzed with 'info' from everywhere etc

I do agree with OP though. The website is not fit for purpose. They just need to take the news page of and link to Twitter feed.
Maybe they should do something for the "oldies" as they are the ones who still buy season tickets every year no matter how bad we've become. I was helping remove the seats from the east stand and a couple were there to collect a pair of seats they had sat in for 50 years , Perhaps old loyal fans such as those deserve a bit more respect and some reciprocal loyalty.
Maybe the REALLY old ones could have a paper newsletter?
