It's a needless, passive aggressive dig. It's not a smart way of doing PR. I'm very much respectful of what we have achieved off the field under Michael's tenure but he really could do with being a bit smarter. He's got nothing to gain fan wise in that post but he might just have potentially lost a couple who will just think "love it"
I'd go regardless but I just don't see how little sly comments are helpful. You can be transparent and matter-of-fact without that.
Just disappointing because everything he said otherwise is helpful and it's nice to have the transparency but just resist the nonsense.
