I wish I shared your optimism KK but I fear we lack the quality to bounce back especially at half back ,really hope I'm wrong.

Not sure how we do it but, we need to have the same mentality as Wigan had after they went down at KR.
Start again and rip into them.
I fully accept that we dont have the same players as Wigan but, our attitude has to be on it.
There is no time for feeling sorry for ourselves and it's time to roll up our sleeves and not take a backward step.
Gaskill should stay at FB, he does have some experience there and has had some decent games in that position.

We're 2 games in and it's important to stay positive.(I know it's hard).

Agree with most of what you say but I’m struggling to think of any decent game Gaskell has had at FB.
But, we’ve nobody else ready to step up so I reckon we’ve no choice.
I’m not saying Gaskell doesn’t try but I simply don’t see him good enough as a SL FB or SO.

To be fair to Gaskell we did win a couple of games last year with him at fullback. Given the lack of options i’m willing to give him another 2 or 3 games to find some form there, he has played there a good few times over the course of his career. If it doesn’t work though then we need to look for some genuine cover for Jowitt moving forward, even if it means loosening the purse strings a little.

The game on Friday is subject to a pitch inspection by the RFL and if not acceptable we will have to play at a neutral venue.

Purchase enough knee protectors for both teams to wear, sorted. Moving games away from Belle Vue will cost the club thousands of pounds, an absolute disaster.

Could this season get any worse, McNamara and Tom have lost any respect I may have had for them. Dumping us in the poo like this.

It's hardly Tom's fault.
We'd have moaned if he'd been our player with these injuries.

Agreed, i doubt he and the other Catalan players wanted the injuries and subsequent infections. The fact it happened means it should be investigated to ensure it doesn’t happen again.
