It is turning nasty now though, individual players getting booed, Proctor getting to to f off back home as hes jogging off the field. The stewards sensed it as they lined up in front of the North Stand towards the end of the games as though an invasion was on the cards.
Would not have been much of an invasion as most of the Trin fans had walked out well before that.
It’s hard not to feel emotional about the current mess… but the reality is that the club has to be managed… coached… sponsored and maintained…
Carter is leaving anyway… after a legacy of stabilising the club, this highlights the limits of his capability … if there was an obvious replacement I think he would be gone already! Minnards is a businessman and has done a superb job in wrangling the funding package for stadium development… that’s what he should be doing for the club!
It’s now patently obvious that Applegarth and Ford are completely out of their depth… it’s like watching a frog in a slowly boiling pan of water…
What happens now… ??? I don’t have a clue… but it makes me very sad!

is the club Carter leaves behind in better shape than when he came in. We've a new stand not paid for by him but a massive amount of debt over 4 million quid, I suppose it depends on one's point of view.
What a brilliant, thoughtful suggestion, I look forward to your announcement of buying out the shareholders and putting your money into the club, if only

Does buying merchandise and tickets not count as putting money into the club?

Never mind Carter n Minards that was an embarrassing performance by the whole team , they are professional players yet were outgunned /outplayed and out performed, by a team who looked on a different level , and I didn’t see a Carter or Minards missing tackles as far as I could see ,or failing to score yet again, that is down to the players and as such should hold their heads in shame This is a weak squad but they are payed professionals as as such must shoulder the blame as well for this dire performance.
It's hard to believe that Carter has actually got any of his personal money tied up in the club, because if he did have, he'd have invested in the squad so that he could secure the highest level of investment as his replacement thereby securing his own money.
This team now looks very much like he's already pulled out whatever money he did have tied to the club, leaving us with a threadbare squad, low quality coaches, and no prospect of any significant signings.
I do worry that this might not just be our last season in the Super League, but could be our last season as a professional sports club. We are now in a worse position than we have been under any other owners in the super league era
