We've seen some real talent leave the club this last year ,its heartbreaking to see other clubs benefiting from all our hard work it doesn't bode well for the future of WT It's a really depressing time .

Good luck to the lad, great young prospect. I really wish him well.

He is a great example of the Messiahs rolling door at Wakey. Class talent goes out and overpaid garbage comes in

No not really. Players at all clubs sometimes leave and do not renew their contracts, it happens. The difference is with us we do not replace like for like.
TJ and Lweis out... Lineham and Tafua in... then add Fifita, Tini, Batch, Miller ... look at who comes in. Can you see a pattern developing.

Of course, nobody can begrudge him or anyone else leaving if the are offered a contract down under but, after already having Johnstone leave, we really ougt to have had our better players, especially the youngsters, tied up for as long as possible.

It doesn't feel quite as bad just yet but, with all of the plyers that have been allowed to leave, it feels like the Kath Hetherington era, with everyone for sale.
Ok, we scraped through that and eventually started to build again but, the stakes are getting a little higher and if we have any aspirations about being one of the lucky 12 clubs, we must stay in SL.

Its OK saying we should keep them, but its not just the clubs decision - it's a two-way decision.
If I remember correctly, Lewis said that he was leaving and I don't think there was anything we could do to keep him here tbh.
