Proctor looks extremely willing but, he hasn't looked fit.
The whole team seems to have benefited from the arrival of Fifita, Proctor included and our pack looks a match for anything in SL just now.
Having said that, with a couple of exceptions, we look to have an ageing set of forwards.

The key for next season should be keeping Whitbread and persuading Fifita to go another season and then fit the rest of the pack around them
We have a couple of young forwards, plus the French lad, who you would expect will progress.

We need to try and find a real "enforcer", like Fifita or Kasiano but, they are almost as rare as decent half backs

Excellent opportunity for the club to not repeat past mistakes - Proctor has been a waste of time.

Not offered enough on the field for me. I can imagine him playing a season or two in France in their second tier, if they can afford him

I don't think Fifita should go another season. He can only ruin his already legendary status.
He can't go on forever, as Proctor has proved.

The pack next year should have Whitbread and Bowden but not Proctor and much as I'd love it, not Fifita.
We need to find the next one, not run the old one into dust.

Let's hope our team of the week prop keeps improving so we can keep him in the group.

Will keep quiet on this ,you no how I feel about to many old players at the club lol .But will say for a overseas player ,he as been very poor

Hope you watched the final State of Origin , with Daly Cherry-Evans (34) and Cody Walker (33) running their respective shows . Whatever Proctors shortcomings it’s not his age as I think we’ll all agree those Aussie test series are far far tougher than anything we serve up yet according to some on here these 2 wouldn’t get a look in that series . Personally the battering his body has taken in his 300 ish games have taken their toll and as much as I’ve liked watching him , another year is a huge risk . Who would have turned their nose up at Roby at 36/37 if the unthinkable happened and he plumbed for us last this season . Age is but a figure as plenty of top players are testifying to.

Fifita is playing busted and almost certainly won’t feature next season , at least on the playing side , according to people close to him

See how he goes in the remaining nine games. If he maintains the effort that he has shown recently perhaps it may be worth a punt.
