Got to admit, Think a 15 losing streak speaks for it's self Deciding to make Gaskel the main play maker was shocking ,you could see he was way past is best when he did play the season before .Just getting rid of younger players Giving Hood a 2 year contract I could go on.What is going to happen when Gale and Dave go at end of season , .As a coach for S L forget it, if we go down do not think he is good enough to build us a winning Championship team We have got to break this signing old players and geting rid of the young players habit that could \ will cost us S L . The only reason Cas are as bad as us is because they are full of old players Every other S L club as got the balance of Old and Young players right bar us and Cas

Lol.
Just to be clear. Of course there are better coaches out there than Applegarth.
What I think is, this isn't the time to mess with it.
If there is better in the off season then great. But that isn't someone's assistant or a failed coach wanting a second chance.

I'd happily bring Kear in to help, but changing the dynamic when the players are actually now responding is counter intuitive. Just build on the good momentum we have and move past the odd loss on the way.

Also.....it kinda makes me chuckle when all these people say life will be better under Ellis and its all Carter's fault.

But even though Ellis has put money in and supposedly now in charge (even though he isn't really) he hasn't tried to replace Applegarth.

I think some people are heading for a disappointment

Why do you say it's counter intuitive? How do you know it is? Was it Counter intuitive when we brought JK in the first time around when we were in a similar position? The "dynamic" that you mention only appears to be evident for home matches apparently. It would make my day if just once I could log in and read that PT had just added a post stating that, "So and so had a crap game" or "Wasn't the ref rubbish". I would then know that Pop Tart is not a robot :) :)

Applegarth was not the right man when he was appointed and he still isn't now. Even if he does keep us up he is not the right man for the job.

You need to log in more. I've called plenty of people out. I just don't throw all the toys out of the pram when I do.

Intuition is a personal thing. Seems counter to me. Doesn't have to be for you.

Was it Counter intuitive when we brought JK in the first time around when we were in a similar position?
No as we were losing games and on the decline. This time we are winning games and on the rise.

The "dynamic" that you mention only appears to be evident for home matches apparently.
So what? We have 4 home games left. No team is undefeated this year. Its just the way it is.

It would make my day if just once I could log in and read that PT had just added a post stating that, "So and so had a crap game" or "Wasn't the ref rubbish". I would then know that Pop Tart is not a robot :) :)

No question here but I have said I wouldn't play Lineham. Explained at length why Hood has a bad game against Leigh and said I'd quite happily ditch Jorge and Atoni.
Clearly 3 of those have turned their form around proving that a bad game or even 15 bad games doesn't mean it will always be the case.
But i dont care if you think I'm a robot. Crack on

That ok for you?
