Dear Mr Wakefield no 1 Thank you for your e-mail of 16 April to Eric Pickles about the timing of the above planning application. I'm afraid the original target date for a decision of 30 May has been put back to 19 June. This is because, following the close of the planning inquiry, the National Planning Policy Framework came into force and the Secretary of State wished to invite comments from interested parties on its relevance to his deliberations on this case (see attached).
Notwithstanding this, we will endeavour to issue a decision before the target date if possible.
