Just want to add in that I was impressed with Lino yesterday. I have been one of his biggest critics on his performances this season (which I stand by). That said, yesterday he played off Luke Gale well and linked in well with attacking plays. Well played for him and the pivots.

If him and Gale can keep working on these combinations with Jowitt then I will be one happy fan. So long as we have a Gale or someone who can do what Gale does then Mason will be able to feed off that.

Otherwise, 1-17 need praising for the attitude, application and skill levels. That was one mighty fine performance from the pivots, edges and forwards. Was a pleasure to watch and even when things didn’t go perfect they fought to turn the momentum back in their favour and rolled up the sleeves.

Looking forward to seeing them play Hull.

Work hard and play smart and you’ll get the results.

A mention for Senior. The lad keeps coming back here to help out, without much acclaim, but certainly took his chances well.

That was a great performance and credit to everyone involved on and off the field

The addition of Fifita, Gale and although not playing yesterday Dagger has been immense.
Innes Senior seems to split opinions but the lad is quality IMO. He gives us height to defend and aim a kicking game, has genuine pace, is a finisher and gives his all everytime he pulls the shirt on.

I’m still unsold on the coaching front, 4 wins from 21 games is very poor but 4 wins from the last 6 is very good. Maybe it’s down to coaching or maybe it’s down to the added players like Big Boppa galvanising the team and generating some spirit.

I have to worry about next season when we probably won’t have Fifita and quite a few will be a year older eg Gale, Ashurst, Pitts and Co. If we are to get new owners who are ready and able to spend on the squad then I’d like to think we will have a coach who can make them greater than the sum of their parts, I’m still not sure we have that.

Just watched it on TrinityTV (having missed it yesterday) and have to say what an outstanding performance that was to make the so-called Warrington Super Stars look like a bunch of amateurs. Brilliant 80 minute performance from 1-17 plus the coaching staff...our future is in our own hands now

Agree Avenged think the same, though funny how the attacking and passing as improved so much since Ford left ,and Gale came to the club

For me there is only 1 common denominator in the uptick in form, and that is Dave Fifita. More than happy to be challenged by the rose tints but Dave was the catalyst. Ford leaving didn't do anything, there was no sign of life. I expect that Gale was able to provide some guidance early on, but that sheer energy and belief only eventuated when DF turned up.

The guy is infectious. People around him can't help but be energised - he is even giving Runoff 1:1 time and as a result you can see Proctor rising in stature.

I wonder if there could be a coaching role available?
