Well no need to rush to thank Applegarth as it looks and sounds like he’s staying on as Head Coach next year so plenty of time.

Correct. His constant selection of what must be the worst signing in our history is baffling.

It was though a signing that many of the better judges on here warned would be a poor one. The usual suspects shouted down the concerns. Its a recurring theme.

If Ellis does take over and keeps him in place then he will be up against it from day one, it will be a suicidal move. There is no justification for him to keep his job beyond next week.

I note he is now apologising to the fans and takes full responsibility for our relegation. The first point is a little too late and it was his fault but not his alone because he was assisted by his fellow conspirators who put together a squad which even a 4 year old would have realised would produce only one outcome.
He now wants an opportunity to carry on, despite the fact his league record is 4 wins out of 26 games which at any other club would have seen him removed.

It would be ludicrous to keep him on for next season.

Yes in any other area of professional sport someone who has managed such a horrendously poor performing team would have been sacked months ago…… to actually persist with the same approach and keeping the coach in charge of such an abysmal team is beyond baffling and will only lead to continuing Trinity decline in my opinion… Trinity aka Bradford.

He actually said it was his job and the other guy was doing the stadium.
Even when he clearly takes blame you want to put words in his mouth.

It was the coach who gave the interview, it was nothing to do with MC. It appears you are getting a little too protective of our director of rugby.

yes I've watched the interview and he takes the blame, he openly admits he's failed but he also says I've been signing the players for the last 3 years, which is very puzzling and who the hell is having the say so on tje squad for next year is that Carter again. Ultimately our game is results based and what happens on the field is all that matters.
