The championship clubs didn't just sit back and 'accept their pathetic lot' but they weren't given a choice and they were on their own as the SL clubs were happy to be ringfenced in SL and sod the rest. It is only now that some of the SL clubs (yours included) have come under threat that they are suddenly agreeing with what the Championship clubs said 3 years ago. And as i'm sure you've noticed complaining isn't going to get you very far but that doesn't mean that you are 'accepting' it does it?
Maybe if more clubs like Cas, Wakey and Salford had complained 3 years ago, as the Championship clubs did, when the system was being brought in then it might have been avoided. But they stuck with their 'im all right jack' attitudes and are only bothered now that they might end up on the other side of the closed door that SL is becoming.
Most Championship clubs and fans aren't happy with the current system but seeing as there is little we can do we might as well just enjoy our rugby in what is a very exciting and competitive league.
