Heard there’s plenty of water down one side of the field, but not surprised with the crap weather lately, I hope those that wanted rain during the warm spell we had are stood out in it starked naked.

Some body has put a video on of the pitch and it doesn't look bad. On the other hand they have cancelled the pre match dancers because of standing water. We'll have to see.

Maybe McShane didn't have heart for you, or thats how you perceived it but he certainly does for us, he's often stand out in a losing cause this season. To say he doesn't have a ticker or heart is just plain wrong. The Aussies wouldn't skin him alive either, he has that element of poop housary in him, he'd do alright.

LOL just looked at Widnes they have 36/37 with Finn in their squad. Salford if Wikipedia is correct has 26, conversely Hull KR has 38, a lot of youngsters in that squad mind & they made some signings for the M8's like Carney, Tompkins, Hall & Crooks.

Its a great idea in theory but you really are gambling on keeping most of your first 17 fit. The other way is to try and get players who can do a good job in several different positions rather than just filling in.

When CC says quality he means we have no 'wince' players. The quality of the players at Wakefield varies but I personally can't think of a player that makes me wince when I see his name on the team sheet which is a relatively new experience tbh.

Keegan Hirst for example is IMHO our least able prop, however I still think he does a decent job for us - ditto a few others - all are basically playable. Most pleasing of all is that youngsters like Batch and Crowther do not in any way weaken the team which again is a relatively new experience where young players are concerned.

So no it's not quality in the truest sense of the word but it close.
