You don't need 30 players for the first game or even the first month. Loan players always come available through the season.
I completely agree. Some people seem obsessed that every position be covered by a host of internationals.
For a start there are not that many quality players available and if there were no team could afford them, especially not us.
People are being totally unrealistic.
What happens if we have an injury free season and a 17 that picks itself, that means we are paying big wages for nothing. Injuries work both ways.
Finally one mans misfortune is another mans gain. Had we not had two seasons of injuries I don’t think Crowther, Croft, Walker and a few others would be as far along as they now are.
Other players have found new skills, people might not want them there but both Tanginoa and Westerman have proved they can play prop/middle if needed whilst Hampshire it would appear can play almost anywhere.
For the budget we have we have a good team that just needs some good fortune. It’s not perfect never will be.
