The coach select the signings, they pick the team and they tell them what to do based on a study of the opposition. The players are under contract and must be following the game plan or would be replaced his contract is up and will cost nothing to get rid of him. This would give a new incumbent the off season to work on those players currently under contract, add any he wants to resign and unfortunately it will be Chester’s new signings.
I am sorry PT but you are just using the Vastman’s excuse which is that’s it’s the players particularly Fifita. We have used over 25 players this season and can you say that the performances have changed depending who we put in the team.

I'm pretty sure his game plan isn't to drop the ball, play well for a while and then stop playing.
What baffles me is that even when it's obvious there is an issue in the team (including coaching staff) you can't stop just repeating shat you've said with no thought.

The team is showing a lack of confidence and resilience. If Chester can't put that in them then there has to be a change of coach And players.

I've never mentioned Fifita. Another thing you've made up.

Were you at today’s game? He was no worse than anyone else and probably the better player in the halves. Put a fair few bombs up but no chases on the back of it, he can’t do anything about that.

We had a chancd to put things right a host of players out of contract and a coach out of contract. Performances have been shocking for 3 years what do we do well probally keep majority of players and give coach a new deal.that was embarrassing today 18-0up v an injury hit side

He is however responsible for coaching the players and instilling confidence and a style of rugby and a game plan.

We are absolutely clueless and the buck stops with him.

Every team drop the ball and give away mindless penalties. No coach teaches that. But come on. We are now into defending the indefensible territory aren't we?

How do you change contracted players because to do so will cost the club money. The same does not apply to Chester does it because we can get rid of him for free.
The problem is how many times have we done exactly the same despite whoever is on the field. I think it is also obvious to those who want to accept it Chester cannot motivate the current team I am sorry but Chester is not helping your defence of him and the numbers are dropping after each game but today was particularly embarrassing.

What peed me of today was Kay started the game ,he was one of the main reasons why we moved the ball well in the first 15 mins, + fast meters from dummy half Was taken of for 45 minutes + so K Wood could walk about the field bringing nothing to the attack Then Kay came back on did two runs from dummy half and we moved the ball lot better Overhall a shocking display ,with a coach in charge that as no idea how to play attacking rugby ,and there were many times in the second half when we were not making 30 yards when we had the ball .We are only going one way with this coach in charge and that is the Championship

Do you not think the fact we were playing against 12 men helped Kay? I thought he had a ok game but Wood wasn’t poor from what I saw.

Re: Squad fir Huddersfield : Sun Aug 08, 2021 5:10 pm
I was at the game and we totally controlled the game for 15 minutes we were attacking ok and scored a couple of decent tries, jowitt and Ryan were looking dangerous and Ryan kicked well out of hand forcing a few mistakes and finding the floor regular. After that I don’t know what instructions went on but all of a sudden everything went down millers side and he took over the kicking game and basically kicked it to a man every kick resulting in a total loss of control of the game. Miller tried but the weakness was the other side and taking the kicking away from Ryan was just comical. We played the same way, we couldn’t make any ground and they strangled the life out of us. It’s the worst performance I’ve ever seen and I didn’t think I gave a toss about the game till I came out. Simply awful

Ah I see now. You have no reasoning for picking Chester out except its easier to do.
I wish you were in charge.

You don't need to do this anymore. The players have made the point something needs to change. Stop trying to work it out.

Clueless and rudderless simple as

Sitting through that last 60 minutes it’s clear the players are not following any kind of instruction re how to manage a game, that or the instruction is not clear.

Time for a change.
