First half we looked like we could compete with anyone in the league, that was Tom Johnstone’s strongest performance I’ve seen and he only played 40 mins. Second half we just committed Hari Kari time after time with not finding touch, knock on and short drop outs. Really pleased about the 2 points and the first half but obviously the second half far below how we can play.

Yep we messed up the first thirty minutes of the second half. Lack of focus, one of Lino’s worst games. Still we won. TJ didn’t look to bad.

Really need to get Kay back to hooker, Crowther is just too slow.

Over we won, oddly all our tries were beauties so wasn’t all bad.

Sounds like a bit of a ‘curates egg’ of a performance… but in some ways it shows we can’t get ahead of ourselves… we have a decent team but so have most clubs and only our best will win games.

We have three wins… and a couple of fine away performances in defeat at last years grand finalists… and a cup QF spot … I’ll take that…

I should go to sleep but it’s hard when your teams winning

Yes I agree, Crowther isn’t a hooker, his distribution is too slow for SL level, but Jesus he puts himself about on the pitch doesn’t he, the lad Just throws everything he has in the tackle. If he was 6:4 and 18 stone he’d like S Burgess.

It just kept going wrong.
We tried things that have worked before and it cost us a try.
Miller was hobbling, Tanginoa looked off it, constantly the dummy runner, Lino clearly not right, obviously Tom meant Batch in centre where they scored easily, Hood going off slowed it down when we actually got the ball.

Just glad we made it in the end. A win is what we needed. A win is what we got.

Dominant first half performance and then came out looking like we were the ones chasing the game! Some crazy brain explosions. Literally a game of two halves.

Hope Tom is OK. I thought he was done when he went down, then he went on to score that outrageous try!

I know it's all going to be about the second half but I want to just call out Hall. He was absolute class when he got the ball.
The pass he made to release TJ for Miler's try is as good as I've seen at Belle Vue, including Collis and Domic. And it isn't the first time.

Thank God for Tom Johnstone...he set up 2 tries and scored 2 tries, so without him we would have lost that game. Let's hope he's okay for next week
