The roots haven't started to take yet.

We won't see the best of the pitch until the 2nd half of the season at the earliest.

I think it probably looks okay from a distance, when you're up close it's covered in sand.

Correct.

It will recover by late March, but it won't reach it's true potential until August time when it's roots will have reached maximum growth. At that point it will be able to take almost anything thrown at it. We may have overdone it a little this pre-season but it's still in good shape.

See Saints and HKR have dropped on a right money spinner when they entertain the Who later this year, guaranteed a nice kickback with a full house at both grounds and all the food/drinks that’s go with a concert

Be nice if we could get in some entertainment back end of season when new stand opens. Even some local bands performing and a bit of a spectacle/some acts would be nice.

Not sure I’m with you. Other than the stadium rental there will be no connection between Saints and the Who. I doubt Roger and Pete will even know it’s Saints ground.

The promoter will get all the concessions etc, Saints will get a flat fee. Other than the cash there is as far as I can see no other benefits to Saints. I’m not knocking it but it’s nothing more than a short term commercial arrangement. Hope we can do the same at some point.

Not sure you have this one thought out correctly.

Why would you assume the promotor takes F&B?

Promotor will be tickets and merch and will pay for security.

Fee to Saints to cover utilities and rent (as owners - unlike a Hudds or a Wigan for example), + they will take F&B.

A good earner.

No other benefits , what about all the beer and food sales , small minded, one of the biggest rock bans on the planet and the said grounds won’t benefit from all the publicity
