well it looks like a post of mine ruffled a few feathers down at hunslet darkside U13s as the close defeat we had made them try and antagonize me into a reply, it seemed they tried rubbing the defeats we have had in the past but you have to see them to read them http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/hunsletpa ... _id=195154 while I have no problem them teasing me from afar I welcome you to post on here so we all can see it I can hold my hand up to the side being quality but you will find we are all catching you up so here's to meeting you in a cup round, the boys will just play their normal game

No game for Crigg u11's again this week , supposed to be playing Dewsbury Celtic but apparently they can only find 6 players . Now call me an old cynic , but haven't Celtic & Shaw Cross the worst records & if there's the usual shuffle about coming up ... If Shaw Cross lose , they've lost one more , and so bye,bye to them .

its been the worse start to junior RL quite a few clubs have fallen backwards, our year has had Fev lions, hunslet Warriors and Crigg drop down

Stanley Rangers U13 away to Meltham All Blacks on sunday, where going to have to do this with 12 lads, if one can get back from his football 13,

we lost two players last week that have moved on and one that has an injury its still a strong side but have got nothing in support,
we do have another lad that has come down training but is to early to sign on for this game

Must admit - at our age group we seem to be doing something right - had to play some games at the end of last season with only 8-9 players but now have 18 signed on . Can't say the same about the rest of the club unfortunately u16's have folded , u17's not far off & the open age had to join forces with Ketty .
The grass always seems to be greener somewhere else unfortunately nowadays. But on a positive note - there's going to be some talent about in the wakefield district in the next 6-10 years from what I've seen . (as long as they don't leave the game for something else )

that's the problem keeping players happy, the two lads that have left have found them selves pushed out of position wasn't enjoying the game and one used to travel from Mirfield so might end up at Dewsbury Moor,

my lads lost pace and has had to take second fiddler in the team but loves being with his fiends and wouldn't move away, he lost his Centre position and plays second row which I was screaming for him last year as could see it coming, but he lacks game time to learn the position

he now has his chance to shine this week, first and foremost I make sure he enjoys the game or it will become a bind

thats pretty poor that they cannot get a team together,we had to re-arrange a game cos shaw cross couldnt field a team 3 weeks ago, yet their are a couple of teams in group 2 that are winning easy every week who must be pulling their hair out at not been given a chance,last week i watched lock lane beat eastmoor 28-8 and the scoreline flattered eastmoor.

u11s and u12s is a real crossroads for some sides,its now that we are moving towards the more physical side of the game and some kids just cannot handle it and decide that its not the sport for them and move on.

Another weeks worth of fixtures published today (at least for the u11s) but no movement - puts my conspiricy idea to bed !

Stanley 11s beat eastmoor by 10 tbf where a far better than 10 points victory . it may of taken some time but the the lads are linking up well . some of the trys were from super plays and the posistional aspects are beging to show more as they get older.

mind you the under 9s drew 10 all and for atmosphere and just genral feel id have under 9s any time. great game . with liccle mutts getting top tackler for the umpeteenth time this season.
