He's still assistant to Stu in the 19s,I'm guessing that he may be in charge on Friday when the 19s play HKR at BV and leave Stu to concentrate on the job in hand.

You mean HAVING to replace Brough with Cooke

Do you really think that anyone would have made that swap out of choice.
The following season we went bust and then Glover took over.

In his last season Kear had to put a squad together fo roughly the same price as a first class stamp, although we did manage to get hold of Amor,
Paul Johnson, Stu Howarth and one or two more that have gone on to be decent players.
We also signed Charlie Leano and Jarrod Hickey and the other Paul Johnson (ex Warrington).

I was only joking, like probably every other player decision made there for God knows how long, money orientated, therefore I think none of us should ever slag any coach who has to work under those circumstances, which has been pretty much all of them since '99.

Thought Glovers first mistake was signing Agar, wasn't Kear leaving when Ted was in charge?
