It's madness to focus on the Woods pass. What changed things was the team's mind set and how they dealt with that setback, which of course happens in games.
If they could have seen that that blip was just that, a blip, and the thing to focus on was the way you had come back into the game, started to dominate , went into the lead then opened up that lead then the blip would not have effected you any more than you extending your lead effected us. Super League is such a mind game when it's close. Self belief is such a massive thing. Show a weakness in that area as we have 3 times and you can be conceding 40 to 50 points very easily.
So don't be too down on a run of 3 defeats. Have confidence in what has taken you to where you are today. It isn't an accident, you are a very good team even with key players out as you showed again last Friday at the KCom.
It's difficult to come to terms with actually "being a good side" when for quite a while you've been mediocre like us. But you should embrace it, trust the table and know your team will start getting the wins again.
Your off patch has already started to change with your performance against us. That alone will be a confidence builder.
It's great to see a truly exceptional side of the 60s 're-emerge.
Your in good hands with your chairman, and coaching team. Start to enjoy it rather than waiting for the fall. Though I know it's difficult for you , we are Hull FC and we've lived it too.
