I was there, I did not hear any IRA chanting, I am 100 % certain that if Wakefield fans had heard anyone doing this they would have called the stewards to get the culprits kicked out. There was the usual foul language chanting without a care for families and children. There was one fan on the right side of the stand who spent most of the match swearing and gesturing at the Warrington fans, he had little interest in the game but was simply intent is causing as much offence as possible. I presume that the stewards must have concluded that the lad was a tourettes sufferer on a day trip from some sort of Care in Community Centre as they took pity on him and did not eject him from the ground.
