Other than gossip on here and a few local hostelries, I'm pretty confident that any announcement regarding signings will be made in the usual manner until then the gossip continues, mildly amusing how these things develop

No there have been bad ones and I’ve had to pay the price for these

Indeed. Which is why signing a known troublemaker who is well past his sell-by date makes even less sense. Especially given his position is well covered already.

This thread is funny. You guys have bemoaned his loss since he signed for hudds- now you are bemoaning his return.
True hudds have had his best years- but one thing about brough is when he puts on his boots you get the best he’s capable of - paddy’s aside. Those paddy’s are because he cares not because he doesn’t.
Not sure what’s happened to his kicking game- his goal kicking has been well down -he’s never been any good at short range stuff but his long range ball in hand stuff is just as good as it’s always been.
I’m going to enjoy next season thinking of all those hypocritical fans at wakey cheering him on when the last few years they’ve been Jeering Danny brough, is a w*nker.

Every signing is a gamble, like any job you interview, research, even take a form of reference and engage them in the belief you have the right one, often you do sometimes you don't.
