Just listened to Solomona's Podcast.
What a humble guy. I don't think he realised how much of a legend he is with the fans here.
I loved the fact that his great moment was seeing the fans celebrate the Hull win in 2004, rather than something he did himself.

We've had some great players at Wakefield but he stands up at the top for me with a very small group magically gifted players.

Hands down the best player I’ve seen in my time in a Trin shirt. Guy was unplayable at times. Even made the Kiwi squad when he was with us.

He didn't just play for them, he played every game of the Tri Nations in the year they won in 2005. Beating Oz 24-0 in the final.
Absolutely at the height of his powers when with us.

He is the best overseas player I’ve seen.

Tom Johnstone is the best homegrown.

Both have one thing in common, they entertain.

An absolute pleasure to watch the man carry our colours!

Another really enjoyable listen...these podcasts have been great.

I'd hope the current players have been listening to them...like with the pre season task they did with ex players they could learn a lot listening to such greats as Solo!

If I was Tiger Handforth sat at home listening to that I'd have a big smile for the rest of the year!

I thought it was funny how Poching inadvertently got him to sign for us! Bet Gary is delighted by that.

Can you imagine a player of that quality coming to SL now let alone Trinity.

I was gobsmacked at the time and I still am.
