100k a year on Tom Lineham and or Gaskall. Or employ more bodies to help run the club?
Don't get me wrong I know Carter's hands are tied and he does his best. But subtle things could well help. Sometimes getting help in areas where you need help is an absolute god send. It then allows you to do the things you are good at.
Seriously, I'd be astounded if either were on anywhere near that amount, your words not mine, You know his hands are tied, your first line implies differently, bit more of a contradiction here squire, he needs a coaching staff, he's got one whether it's good enough is down to interpretation, he needs players, he's got them also, once again it's down to opinion, maybe somewhere in the middle lies the answer, having said that it then becomes possible to do what he's good at, maybe he's just a victim of his own success in the past, I for one don't have the answer do you? but on his past success I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt which doesn't seem the case for some on here.

The figures are plucked from the air and I accept that. I should have been more clear on that.
My point was that we have some players burning a hole on our rooster which doesn't represent value for money. So realistically could you put that money into off field staff? All said with hindsight and I'm not criticising MC.

MAYBE Mr Carter should get in touch with Mr davey to see we're he's going wrong.
Ken Davy is a really nice guy, who gets along with just about anyone, he doesn’t demand you become part of his sycophantic inner circle or agree to stroke his ego on a regular basis.

Really don’t understand all this animosity towards Carter , it’s the players that are letting themselves and the club down not Carter . Do they really need a coach to tell them the gravity of the situation or to pack down in a set time or they will be penalised ,we’re talking the very basics of RL here ,something they will have been taught in their very early start of their career to even get a chance to play in Super League much later down the line ,no one gets through just going through the motions I don’t care who they are ,they all have to put some serious work in . The trouble we have is now they’ve made it they think they are on easy St ,and for all intense and purpose they have ,and the days of hard Graf are behind them , it’s almost like it’s written in the very culture/fabric at the club , get in and then do the minimum to keep yourself in , simple . Carters shortfall for me is not his supposed arrogance but his gullible/trusting personality, by giving out long contracts like smarties ,to has been and ageing players on the say so of a coach in the midst of his own death throws ,the same players who will now hold on until the very death like bloodsuckers getting their last fix of money on a mortally wounded beast . Poching is a very likeable guy and not for one minute am I expecting him to hang his players out to dry in the media ,even though behind the scenes he must have been candescent watching that tripe unfold on Sunday . Too nice a guy will be his downfall im afraid , but we all saw how the big stick approach ended last time under BS .

I did not think for one minute there was any criticism towards Carter from your post, it just seemed easier to use it as a reference towards those that seem to think it's all his fault, apart from what some on here perceive as a big mistake giving Poching and his team the job and they're inability to bring out the best of what they have tactically, I can't honestly see where he's gone from hero to villain in 1/2 a season, when we strung a few games together at the back end of last season with the present coaching staff, you never heard a peep from all those with O levels in hindsight, now it's gone t!ts up there all experts, as for putting money into off field staff, with all this hindsight what's knocking about, maybe we could have put it to better use on field, which brings us back to Poching, is it is fault that he's having to select players that don't appear to be good enough or even want to carry on playing for the club, it's so easy and fickle to play the blame game, and just to be clear, I'm not blaming you
