Kinda proves the point. This story was just made up because people didn't like Nero.
Sounds like the same happened with Chester and the story in the Star.

But yes should be proud of yourself. You have such a great insight into the club and the problems we have.

I'm very proud of myself, thank you,PT for being able to state what I believe in. I'm also proud of the fact that I've watched my team for 64 years through thick and thin ( a Hell of a lot more thin than thick). I have no greater insight into the Club than I reckon you have, but I'm not so daft that I can't see where this once great club is heading rather than bury my head in the sand and believe that the good fairy is going to come along and all will be well down at BV. I'm fully aware of the problems that the club have thank you, but if everything was left to the likes of you and Wollo I doubt whether we will have a club to follow after my 65th year of being a supporter.

Your granny sounds like a wise lady. As you say, I only see what you see, we are just drawing different conclusions.
Anyway. There's a game on. Catch you later.

You really are snide, you must be spitting bitter feathers after last night.

I’ve been Chester out for a bit but I was delighted for him last night and I’ll be even more delighted if he proves us all wrong. Will you? I doubt it.

PT and Wollo have stuck with it, sometimes I’ve found their optimism a bit surreal but they are entitled to their beliefs without being branded as blind monkey’s.

I for one sincerely hope they are right because I support the club first and my own opinions second. Whether they are only time will tell but I’m definitely on their side as I’d hate to be right on this one.

Yesterday was a start, I’m thankful for that, it was a pleasant change.

I have said that I was glad of our win last night but I also believe that based on our performances over the last two seasons that Chester is not the man for the job. To be considered a true supporter is not defined by a belief that Chester is the man. I consider him to be lucky that he is the coach at Wakefield because with his record he would not have been given so long to prove himself by turning the performances around anywhere else.
I don’t think they are blind but my reference relates to being in denial or why would I mention the other two evils.

Why are they in denial? Just because they don’t agree with your synopsis on the situation.

Ever thought they might be right and your wrong? Maybe MC’s backing of Chester isn’t because they are ‘mates’ allegedly but because he’s in a far better position than any of us to know what’s really going on.

It’s funny how only one of the three players fathers on here have voiced a negative opinion. I’m not saying the one that has is wrong but he’s not necessarily right either, he’s hardly unbiased. Ditto Mr Cross, just because he hails from these parts doesn’t automatically mean he’s well informed.

All I can say is that those 17 players last night looked to be very happy with the result, not what you’d expect from a coach hating team.

I reserve the right to change my mind based on what I see and last night I liked what I saw. Last week I was disgusted with what I saw, this week I saw a different team. It seems to me that last week Chester was blasted for saying what we all thought. People didn’t like the fact that he refused to accept it was his fault. Last night seemed to vindicate that, as the team made it clear they wanted to play for him.

To early to say whether he’s fixed the problem but as is so often trotted out on here your only as good as your last game! As of now CC is on the up and if he keeps winning or at least performing he’ll have me back on side.

You can’t have it both ways, you can’t blast him for losing and then carry on kicking him if we start winning. If that starts to become the norm again then CC is my man again, it’s only fair.

I listened to todays game on Radio Humberside, the commentators were fair in their criticism of HKR and praise of Trinity. They claimed that the recent press reports about Trinity were not as a result of a player's comments but from a "disgruntled former board member" I wonder who that could be !
