You survive on that “tight budget”…..just about. Year after year. What’s the point? I really don’t get the MC love in, he’s probably great if you’re running a newsagent but he doesn’t have the finance obviously to move things on for you.

So
1) he's kept us in Super League with an income close to a newsagent.
2) even with our poor bank account, he managed to get a squad together that can beat your millionaire team 3 times this season
3) as you don't support Wakefield, I can't see why it's a problem to you.

Yes he did save the club PopTart but he should have changed his approach over the last 5 or 6 years.
Our present situations down to Mr Carter who must be held responsible.
If we do manage to survive does the club continue on its present path and repeat the process next season.
I know you always look on the bright side but I think many supporters are starting to realise that something needs to be done before they shell out on season tickets an make regular visits to B V.
If we do survive the club should make a statement of intent, Infact if relagated also.
Its an extremely difficult time for people and the club will need to bring as many supporters it can along with it.

There aren't many positives on the field right now but Carter's responsibilty to the club is to primarily keep it afloat when other clubs in our position have gone under.

When you talk about revenue streams we are in the middle of one of the biggest projects to change that.
The onfield stuff could change overnight.....either way. But the work on stadium and the work to keep the budget under control is long term and long lasting.

Can't agree with that. He's played centre more than a few times. However he is a wide back where as Batch is a forward. Batch has had one good game at Centre, he's had far more stinkers.

Also this lad is NRL proven and that alone makes him vastly superior to most of our lillie livers.

Didn't he get two MoMs at centre, against Hull and Wire?

True, I meant two but the point is he’s hardly a seasoned centre.

That’s not to say I wouldn’t play him there and was baffled to not see him playing there on Saturday.

As I say I’ve totally lost any belief that Poching is up to the job. His inability to settle on a line up is frightening.

I hate to say it but he appears clueless as demonstrated in that second half.

It’s a problem to me because the club are an embarrassment to full time sport. Happy to clear that up for you.

Not sure about that. Batch has played at centre a number of times over the years. Seem to recall he played a number there last season towards back end. I read Taufua was a winger that has probably played only a handful of times at centre.

Not that it matters. We just need whomever plays there to do the business. Whether that’s Batch or Taufua.

Looked it up using the excellent rugby league project site, which given it's aussie based it's pretty much spot on regarding NRL stats. It states Taufua has played a centre twice in his entire career, once for Tonga in the 2013 world cup when they lost to Scotland and a big defeat by St George in 2020. Chucking him in there given our current predicament would come with a high degree of risk. Who knows might pay off but i'd probably go Batch myself given his last two performances in that position.
