The England loose carry over the line I thought was a 50/50 too, but it was sent up as a no try on the back of what Child thought had happened, they couldn't disprove the knock on in the same way they wouldn't have been able to prove it had it gone up as a try.
Fifita's over the line ball steal, well it wasn't even a 50/50, it was a steal straight up but if you call it a 50/50, we didn't get it.
The off side penalty on our line near the end, wrong or not, I didn't think it had much bearing on the result.
Over all, we needed to produce more to overcome the conditions, the 50/50's and great defense from Cas managing their lead, it was there right to the end but we couldn't quite get the breaks.
Can't complain about anybody in the squad, they all did their bit in a mud bath, to single anyone out like Pauli or Miller is pretty harsh imo, they didn't look any worse than the rest of both teams splattering about in a muddy field.

I would add the Webster(?) touch on the ball from Miller's kick. Maybe it's my bias but in my view he moved his foot towards the ball. It didn't strike him.

Nothing in the 2 teams apart from a v dodgy 3 pens and a blatent ball strip. We are playing well just need some luck.

Forgot about that, yeah I've seen them given for much less, usually fast ones that clip somebody on the way through at a hundred miles an hour and you wonder if they actually knew much about it, it wasn't a fast one, gotta go down as another 50/50 we didn't get tbh.
Although, that wasn't an event directly involving a score like the McMeekin, Fifita and England decisions.
I think CC's moan at Child is completely justified, though I keep coming back to the fact that despite it all, the game was still there to be pinched right till the end.

Can't understand why people are having a go at Horo and Pauli. Must have short memories. Remember when Bill Tupou first came to the club ? We had the same sort of thing ..now he is getting rave reviews . I know some players can move to a new club and immediately play to their full potential eg Randell. but most take a few months.

There isn't much between the two teams & thats as much as needs to be said really. The ref had a reasonable game all things considered & I'm yet to read anyone's comments on here about the decisions he might have got wrong that favoured Wakey, unless that didn't happen of course!

Fair point that steady, personally I don't think Child got much wrong for either side, that's two games on the trot now he's had a decent game for us in comparison to previous shambolic displays of refereeing from him.

By all means even up the debate. It's going to be Trinity biased on here.

The only one I can remember was the Cas knock on from Grix's kick off, I thought it went backwards.
The biggest mistake I felt Child's made was just prior to the Cas try, Millington drove towards the posts and ran straight into his own team mate affecting our defenders ability to make the tackle. Millington himself put up his hand as an apology but Child's waved play on, they scored shortly after.
