Why change my chippy, probably one of the best in Wakefield, and they are passionate about the team too.
As for knowing what's going off, then no I don't, as probably not many on here do either Vasty, that is apart from you, but as you have pointed put on numerous occasions, too much negativity and idle gossip, can have a negative impact and disrupt the team.
Horo had a mare in the penalty count, but otherwise he had a good game.
It seems obvious that Pauli Pauli is carrying an injury from the way his leg is strapped up, and he is playing in colder and muddier grounds than he is used to and after a long lay-off. He's going to get better as he gets fitter and the grounds get harder. He'll be a fan favourite by the end of the summer, and at least he is recovering his fitness against beatable teams and in games we are winning.
As others have said CC said it's an old injury he straps up for precautionary reasons, nothing to do with the leg break or the car crash. Agree with the rest. Wood in an interview said he'd come over missing a fair bit of preseason and wasn't as fit as he normally would be because of his leg break. So he's no doubt behind all the other players in terms of where they are in their fitness. It seems obvious that CC is trying to ease him in gently over these first few games and with those gadgets on their back will be monitoring his progress as each game passes. Even at this point, you can see what he's going to bring when he hits peak form, he's already a complete handful for opposition defenses but isn't playing big enough minutes quite yet.
I think Horo has had a slow start with some pluses but more things to improve. It happens with new signings sometimes. It takes time to adjust.
His tackle success % is the lowest of all the forwards. I'm almost tempted to say the missed tackles stat needs a recount it is so high, but at the moment he is reading 16 missed and 96 completed.
His attack is better with an average gain of 5.96 metres which is only ok but ok. He's made 2 errors with the ball and given 4 penalties away.
In summary I think it's a "Could do better" report. But I've seen him do better so I think he's worth pursuing. Stats sometimes hide players being targeted or players having to cover other weak defenders so is not the only consideration and he has only played 3 games so far so let's see how he develops.
So before yesterday he'd hardly made an error or given a penalty away. There's no doubt though after yesterday he could do better and as a guy coming into a new side, I'd expect him to gradually settle in more and improve. Saying that I wouldn't be surprised if next game CC may get Batchelor in for example. Just to say if you play poor and you can lose your place because we've got these young guns on your heels, just to keep the players on their toes.
3 wins from 3 and people are picking fault with individual players as though they watched every move they made in all 3, that's 3 just to emphasize 3, games Reality check time!!
It was a well fought game, and did very well to come back with the points.
Catalans certainly showed up and made us work for it.
Again too many penalties, but more worryingly, most, seemed by the same player. It could be trying too hard, or trying to settle a few scores.
He was our signing of intent, but not convinced yet. I said at the time I would rather see Batch, Jordy or Annakin more game time, and at the moment I feel the same. Early days yet to be binned off as Chris Chesters worse signing as someone put earlier, only time will tell.
Hope it does work out as I don't like negativity as it can cause friction in camp, and we are trying to build a stable group. The frustrating thing for all concerned should it not work, there is a quota spot here at stake.
only real negative i see at the minute is how short our goal line drop outs are, i dont remember Grix taking them last season, but some on saturday seemed to be falling short of our 40m line putting us under instant pressure, think that needs sorting quicky the rest will come as the season progresses and the weather improves,

A bit of variation in the kick offs would be nice as well.
Like I also said Jakey, he may well have been trying too hard, or trying to settle a few scores with some ex team mates, it happens.
Just not quite seeing the signing of intent yet, but like with other overseas signings, sometimes it takes a few games to fully settle in.
And just for the record it wasn't me who said he was our worst signing under Chester, it was a comment on here, or on of Trinitys Facebook page after the game.
