I hope there’s no howlers against us again like last week. Swift scoring with a foot clearly well in touch seconds before. Last year Salford try where Burgess has a whole leg over 2ft in touch.
It’s a new season. I’m willing to give refs a clean sheet. I thought James Child was a poor ref when he first came on scene but as time went on he improved and ended up being a good referee imho.
Suppose refs need to develop too and need support and investment. I’ll just judge the refs after the performances.
I honestly don’t mind if they’re consistent. Tbh, a couple of games there weren’t many 6 against or penalties given in pre -season. I hope this continues and that’s the best way to ref imho unless of course you really do have a team that’s being poorly disciplined.
