That should read, us in 9 th with Hudds,Cas and Salford below us, in actual total points scored.

It isn't total points scored.
It is the performance part of the IMG grading.

Apologies if this has already been covered, I’ve read somewhere that if a club achieves a A grade, they are then safe for the following season, is that correct?

It purely determines what league your in following season. I think if we were to get an A tomorrow it would guarantee SL in 2025 but then reviewed 2026 October and 2027 would be decided by that score. Hope that makes sense.
