Yes, some were made - both for and against.

The deadline will not be brought back to the original - partly as we feel that the delay also allowed for the LDF report to be finalised before the PI result is made public - but the announcement is 'on or before' the 19th. Realistically, we expect in or around that date and not much before.

Boy do we need some good news on here!

It might be worth a trip down to the wholesaler's to stock up on the BBQ,... just in case?

Dunno - I can't speak as I've had my share of hissy fits, but I was surprised by Clan's response.

I think we are all doing it tough - some try and find the positives and some pick at the weaknesses, but we are better when we can listen, learn and understand the views of others - and the Clan's voice will be sorely missed on here!

I don't think the significance of decision on the 19th can be overstated, both in the short and long term. The long term is more obvious but, IMO, the outcome will also affect next years recruitment as once we get the nod (confident not complacent), we will be more confident of our long term survival in SL and will be able to offer longer term deals to the players we so desperately need!

I've never really understood franchising. For example, we've spent years playing winter rugby in an open stadium. But now it's a summer sport we have to put a roof up????

D42? I've begun to become embroiled in this whole saga! this appears much more complicated than when warrington had to wait for parliamentary decisions re; our new ground/ planning permission etc!. thing is several years on it all seems like a distant memory. reading this thread has brought it all back again, hope it all works out. i'll be watching with bated breath for you all.
