And have they not redeveloped Castleford Wagon (they call it a bus) Station and planning to redevelop the train station too?

Don't think the bus station was paid for by Wakefield MDC. I believe it comes under metro's funding and is in effect paid for by all West Yorkshire authorities. Ditto for the railway station.

Oops! Sorry Wilzay. I understand the frustration but I don't think it helps throwing in examples of what the council has afforded.

I don't live in Wakefield so I'm not really bothered, a simple question, would you have prefered them to have been built in Castleford.

Just as a point of note I keep seeing people saying that music concerts could be held at the new stadium. It was an enviromental health stipulation of the planning permision that this would not be allowed so that is a non-starter.

It seems completely and utterly idiotic that anyone would agree Planning permission for a stadium with a stipulation that you can't hold concerts there... especially a community stadium.... unless of course WMDC never had any intention of seeing it built.
