You could not make this stuff up, no really.

And people get their news from this shower of s........ Not you Emma, respect, now get your P45.

And before the accusers jump in, No, I am not an anti-Vaccer, I, (like the BBC should be in a world where the press is alleged to be free) I am open minded........ at this moment in time.

I’m with you on this Miro, when we have people in high places pushing certain agendas for personal gain. The whole system is rotten to the core.

Conflict of interest row as it emerges Chief Scientific Officer Sir Patrick Vallance has £600,000 of shares in vaccine maker contracted to make UK's coronavirus jabs
Sir Patrick Vallance has a £600,000 shareholding in a pharmaceuticals giant which is racing to develop a Covid vaccine for the Government, a report has revealed.

The Chief Scientific Adviser holds the deferred bonus of 43,111 shares in GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) from his time as president of the multinational company.

Sir Patrick has already sold more than £5 million in shares he received during his tenure from 2012 to 2018, when he was appointed by the Government.
Accounts seen by the Telegraph show that Sir Patrick held 404,201 GSK shares when he resigned, worth £6.1 million at today's price.
Sir Patrick, who also chairs the Government's expert panel on vaccines, predicted at a news conference this week that the first effective doses of a jab might become available on a limited basis by the end of this year.
The Government said that Sir Patrick holds a deferred share bonus which will mature in April 2021 but declined to comment on the size of the holding or its value.

How can anyone not see the deceit by government and the mainstream media? people are now becoming more aggressive across the world, demonstrating against government and authorities. Remember, you can fool some of the people etc.

Even I nearly choked on my cornflakes reading your post this morning.
I totally agree with your final paragraph and just hope more people begin to see through the scam. It could start with Mr Carter not having his players jump through hoops everyday, and I don't mean on the training field.

Probably the best thing to doin the circumstances, is to tell GSK to stop looking for any possible vaccine and to work hard not to make any profit, which would render his shares worthless. That might make you fell better.

The real issue here is just how one guy can earn so much income, topped up with share options and poor Joe Public is on £10.00 an hour busting his nuts every day.
Incidentally, if the largest drugs company isnt going to work on a vaccine, who should we ask to do so ?

The real issue for me is that come the middle of next year there is now a high probability we are going see to them push two agendas into overdrive.

1. Annual vaccination, coercion strategy targeting every UK citizen. After the last swine flu pandemic farce in 2009 and current ranging estimates of an infection fatality rate for COVID from 0.1 - 0.9% I think we should be "allowed" to make our own personal risk assessment. I'm not keen of a "one size fits all" approach. Choice in life matters; whether that's the quality of car you buy or the insurance product you take out. An informed choice will likely not be an option on this matter.

2. The push for the "new normal" - Lots of talk online about what this would mean, at the moment I'm indifferent to this without knowing their full plans. It would be nice to have been asked about it at the very least. After all we are meant to live in a democracy.

I think you may have missed my point wrencat. For a man such as Sir Patrick Vallance to believe in a thousands year old herd immunity but then advise that we all lockdown, social distance and wear masks until a vaccine comes along that will potentially earn him millions is, in my opinion, not just a conflict of interest and highly suspect but considering the misery inflicted upon the UK and it's economy downright evil.

He knows exactly what he is doing and to try and discredit scientist just to help him achieve his aims beggars belief.

You seem to believe that the vaccine makers should earn a profit. No problem with that. However, do you think the vaccine makers should be liable, as any other industry would be if something goes wrong? Bill Gates himself estimates 7000,000 people around the world may be injured by the vaccine. That will include deaths too no doubt.

But no, the vaccine makers have done a deal with governments around the world and they will not be liable for one penny. So, I do have an issue with profits. Profits that will run into into billions if not trillions. You can sue the government (actually us, the tax payer,) good look with that.

Who should we ask to make a vaccine? Certainly not the aforementioned that's for sure. If I find a company that has no ties with Gates, Vallance, Hancock, Boris etc I will let you know. But do not hold your breath.

I'm sure that you are aware that when an employee, who holds share options in that company leaves, they have to cash in the majority or (it may be all of) their share options.
It happened to me a few years ago, although, I hasten to add, not quite on the same scale as your "friend".

Back to Glaxo developing a vaccine, of course they should and as for "profit" from selling vaccines, what do you expect.
How much research do you think goes into these things ?
What should happen after a certain length of time, when the company has fully recouped it's development costs is, the costs of those drugs etc should be heavily reduced.
The only alternative to this would be to have all drug/vaccine development under state control but, we then get into a whole different conversation about the direct influence of "the state".
As for getting vaccinated - I'm pretty confident that if you dont want the vaccine, you will be allowed to refuse.
We're not quite at the stage where you will be hit over the head and dragged off, against your will to be injected.

Re: What now for fans watching ? - Covid chat : Mon Sep 28, 2020 3:41 pm
How about checking this out, this is just one statistic out of many. This statistic is taken from the "Dataset: Deaths registered weekly in England and Wales" Document from the governments website, Office for national statistics.
Week 16: "
Deaths where the underlying cause was respiratory disease" = 1,794
"Deaths where Covid19 was mentioned on the death certificate" = 8,758

The first problem here is that 8,758 is part of the official Covid19 death number but Covid19 is a respiratory disease and this is how it kills, so why isn't the respiratory number 8,758?

The second problem is that 1,794 is the average death rate by respiratory disease and has been for years, it drifts up and down slightly due to season. So Covid19 is being put on death certificates and reported as Covid19 deaths, when it wasn't the cause, the death figures are just as usual, people are just dying as usual, Covid19 isn't happening, it's a fiction, so what's really going on ?

And an anecdote from another forum.

I had a friend who wasn’t feeling that great recently so she decided to rule out Covid-19 by ordering a test, when that test arrived she noticed that they sent her 2 instead of just the 1, when she phoned and asked what she should do about the test she didn’t need, they said just pop it back with your used test. When she phoned to get the her results, they told her that both tests were positive, even though 1 of them was unopened and still in its protective wrapping. Strange but true.

You (wrencat1873 )seem to believe that the vaccine makers should earn a profit?
I typed
"No problem with that."

So ?? Are you trying to put words in my mouth ?

As for "allowed to refuse" yes, I guess so. But will refusniks be allowed on airplanes, buses, hospitals, schools, university, take out insurance etc?

By the way, they can pass any law they like in this day and age. All they have to do is place the word "covid" into the bill and hey presto, it's passed. That's where we are today.

I thought I would have a look at the statistics you quoted and looked at them slightly different to you.
Have you thought that they have attempted to separate usual deaths from respiratory disease from COVID-19 deaths. Can you also explain why the average deaths shot up by 10k during that week or was that a coincidence?
