Totally agree. What made it worse was that two of the changes were duds! Sykes and Washbrooke are no longer anything more than emergency cover.

I don't think many forget that. It's just that so many of you have worked, and are still working, so hard to get where we are today and it pees people off when not everyone appears to be "helping" you out.

if agar was sacked who would replace him?

but I must ask why would he be paid off if he is sacked for poor performance?

also lets be honest if we won the next 3 games this thread would be long forgotten about and he would be classed as genius a season is 27 games not 7... But it would be good for Daddycool to give his thoughts on how the season is going so far?

Unquestionably this has been forgotten by some, but equally we should be head and shoulders above Bradford and London both of whom are having there own problems and one of whom has already beaten us on our own patch.
I'm not one for bagging the coach or hanging out players to dry, i try to take a more sensible view that if they are considered good enough for the club we are, then thats how it is until they prove otherwise.
Richard Agar was not universaly popular prior to his appointment and that has gone against him, that was all largely forgotten when we were on the run of 7 of course.
Some of what he does baffles me, but then again lots of things people do baffles me, but at times he does leave himself wide open to criticism and then the run of 7 is completely now forgotten and we are back to where we were.
Personally i think the decision to give him a three year contract was a bad one, because after year one he hadn't taken us up another level, i appreciate finances and other pressures may have influenced that and the decision to give him the extension but now in hind sight it looks questionable at best.
From what i here the players like him and his ability to spot talented players is unquestionable, but i think at times his take on the game in hand or game in progress is bewildering.
Is it rash to say he should go (if we can actually afford to do that)? Yes i think it is, because i can't see a replacement that would be any less of a risk and there is still plenty of the season for him (and the players after HKR) to redeem themselves.
Should we have more points on the board? Yes we should and the coach and players need to shoulder that responsibility.
Might there be a time this season when it is time for a change? Yes i think there could be, but based on where we have come from a comfortable 12th will be fine, anything less comfortable and i think the club need to look closely at the matter.

I don't think many fans, especially those who attended your first meeting, will forget where we were just a few months ago and regardless of some of the things posted on here, there is a debt of gratitude owed to your team, plus the likes of Snowie and his gang and Sue etc, etc, but you, perhaps more than the regular fans, must get hacked off when the team on the pitch don't show the same passion and commitment as yourselves.
Sunday was a horror show and we were out muscles and out enthused by a committed KR team.
They didn't play champagne rugby of the highest order, they just played harder and didn't come up with the number of errors that we did.

Surely you expect better ?

I don't think anyone has forgotten that at all but that does not mean we should accept abject failure as was the case on sunday when things have moved on apace from where we were in September. Many paid good money to watch that gutless garbage and I for one am still angry about it. The 'time to gel' excuse cannot be used when the signs of 'gelling' were apparent to all in the previous 3 games, yet the team was uneccesarily changed undoing all that good work. An error of judgement by the guy who picks the team and not for the first time. When will he learn?

It's sheer panic MC, the spectre of relegation is still hanging around, and if Bradford get 6 points back!

Re: Agar Out Part 3 : Fri Apr 04, 2014 2:49 pm
I feel that criticism and opinions are fine done in the right manner. Is it right to call Agar all the names under the sun or call for his head every poor result? I don't. Is it right to have an opinion to say you would have done something different to Agar? Yeh sure. Some people's tones or opinions are quite cutting which isn't helpful.

As regards Players I openly questioned their attitude and application v KR as did Agar. Again it is ok to question them in the right manner. I fully believe in them and think Agar can guide us to safety. I will question but fully support at the same time.

Re: Agar Out Part 3 : Fri Apr 04, 2014 6:42 pm
Maybe the coaching staff and players "need a reminder" of how far we've come.

Spoke to loads of fans/supporters this week and they in the main only see match days results and base attendance on that alone.

Hard earned money spent last week on a baffling coaching call and a seemingly couldn't care less attitude from many of the players is not acceptable to these fans/supporters and if thats not a view thats liked then so be it.

If they keep the hard earned in the back pocket the clubs lost revenue, are they wrong not wanting to shell out for such fare?

I don't think any of them expect a winning team every week but dross is dross.
