if you read through that letter it is totally misleading, would love to see the evidence to back it all up, the scare mongering about the through route to pinderfields hospital is a joke
I have know doubt that I'm biased to the fact that I would love to see the development go ahead as a fan of Wakefield but lets put it this way, we have a city that is in need of a stadium to support sport in general, and the present climate money isn't easy to come by and should not be wasted in developments that can't justify being completed,
the Thornes park project would of been a greater difficulty in engineering as it was more complexed with the surrounding area, this one ticks all the boxes bar for the few that live close,
I used to live in Walton close to Walton pit, the old pit houses that was near by has now got open area has been allowed to do back to its "natural habitat" but the other day I took the dog for a walk around the area and still shows signs of pit life there,
the project helps local development in jobs, its thinking of the surrounding area and it improving a city that needs a boost
