They do want him in the coaching team, but it's a playing contract primarily.

No matter what happens, we have to go along with the decisions of CC and MC. They've been quite good so far! I have huge reservations about brough. But I'm neither a coach or owner of a RL club.

I can't remember as much controversy over an incoming individual to the club since Richard Agar's imminent arrival. I think Broughie has had the best rugby league "head" as a player during the Super League era. He has that ability to win a close game. Something that Finny couldn't do.
