DONT TOUCH THE WATCH

Re: V Hudds Thurs 28th April at home. : Thu Apr 28, 2022 9:11 pm
We are simply going to be fighting it out with Toulouse for the drop with our set of forwards, we got mullered down the middle in defence and attack by a team missing their 2 best front towers. We simply are not good enough. We will be travelling to Toulouse with multiple players missing against a team who are very strong at home.

We were playing a team with several players missing, with a semi final coming up and had Flu in the camp and we still couldn’t win plus we were at home.

Time for a massive clear out. Too many players just not interested and too few ideas from the coaching staff

Not having that. Such a lazy, easy throw away criticism. We are struggling making yards, we look toothless in attack, but there was no obvious lack of effort tonight so to say they weren't interested is way of the mark in my opinon. In some ways that makes it worse, less room for improvement

We looked pretty good in the first half but Huddersfield knew exactly what to do in the second half. Kick deep knowing we couldn't bust out of a wet paper bag.

Well he outplayed Johnstone tonight and infact 90% of the team at 19 years of age. Credit where credit is due, he has real quality, he’s not Josh Addo- Carr, but nobody has made him out to be, it’s just nice to see us producing a very good promising player. He clearly had a lot to learn

I personally thought we would win tonight and was dissappointed to be at work so i couldnt attend.after watching the game on sky go i must admit i feel really deflated tonight even worse than the cas game.tonight there did look to be effort and thats why cos if im to be honest we simply are not good enough and it really hurts to say i cant see how we stay up toulose will pick up some wins esp at home.cant see where we are going to win at this present time

I agree.l, the effort is clearly there, we are simply not good enough 8-13. It’s that simple

And thats the problem we have cos he does need to learn but we cant afford for him to make mistakes.i really do like him and yes he has huge potential but thats the vicious cirlcle he learning and while learning making mistakes costing us points..that said he isnt the only person making mistakes

Before season started we all new our pack was not up to sl standard writing was on wall against fev and fax. Basically we lost tonight for one reason alone the fact that we spent most of the game playing out of our own twenty. Our pack is too old too small full of triers

Yes I think it’s nail on head 8-13.

Though that said I do think Whitbread put in a stint. He’s not flashy but he makes a solid 10 and puts himself about a lot especially in defence.
