he was only on loan not a free agent at all, you can't buy what isn't for sale

Another classic case of you talking about things you know nothing about.
If you are looking for a reason look in Halley's direction, I think you will find the problem there.

Halley was under contract until the end of the season so until Bradford decided they did not wish to offer him a contract we could not approach him or we would have been fined for an illegal approach.

Bradford decided to offer him a new 2 year contract so he was never available so we have not missed him.

Good lad and I would have liked him but the fact is he is a Bradford born lad who is happy to stay with his hometown club.

Whilst if given the opportunity it would have been nice to see Halley sign for us i'm quite happy with young Murphy who hopefully will partner Blanch on the wings next year.
