yes he should it was a cheap shot the only intention cunningham had was to punch stosic the strength of the punch doesnt matter

Exactly. Throwing a punch at an opposition player is an immediate red card offence! He should get a 1 match ban, but he won't because Saints have got some players out injured!

If JD gets banned for only copying what Gareth Hock did in the Challenge Cup, then the egos at the RFL are missing a lot more braincells than I thought, as for Wellens, its not JD's fault that you forgot your kicking boots last night.

No mate - i agree with snatch hunter - to say that Cunningham threw a punch is a little strong in my opinion - the amount of distance it traveled with a rugby ball in his hand rather than a clenched fist - come on for gods sake do you want to turn the game into ping pong! - I very much hope that Stosic was caught in the eye ball because if he wasnt then he behaved like a footballing pansy - lets keep the game a mans game - bit of edge is part of it.

Regarding JD - plenty of idiots were slagging him off when he was playing with an injury - JD is a pro's pro - first name on the team sheet every week - and all those who keep banging on about how old he is and how he will deteriorate - load of old cack - played the full 80 and was the most passionate and aggressive player on the field - nobody wanted it more than JD last night.

No, plenty of supporters were making an informed opinion that playing an injured player was not the right thing to do. I think his performances during that period compared to his performance last night would suggest that the 'idiots' might well have had a point.
