You still don't get it do you? Moonriverman just made a comment, that although everything in the garden is rosey, it wouldn't take a lot for things to change. Basically, apart from this incident with Newton, (which unless there's a lot more to it, I don't think it would alter JKs attitude, and you and I don't know if there is or isn't!) our future and his career/income is all on one shot at this new ground. Ok so we are playing great rugby, sitting top of the table, a run of poor form/results (and that is very possible in what is now a very even league) timed with a negative result re: the ground and what looks good suddenly looks very different. What then for john? He is a very shrewd man and I would be absolutely gutted were we to loose him, but he would be an absolute idiot not to regularly review his options and explore opportunities. I hope there is as little substance to this story as any other sun story, but that doesn't make it so, and if you are blinkered to it being a load of odd tosh, end of, then don't critisise people who aren't quite as distrusting as you.
And if my Uncle was a woman he'd be my Auntie!
Stop looking for the negatives when things are generally positive - they will come around in their own good time and we can all have a jolly good moan-fest once again!
KEAR is a legend hes turned this club around. Surely he can't give us up for like 3 games of rugby a year. KEAR loves rugby league too much. He should say i will do it part-time or nothing at all how the hell can it be a full time job for a few games a year.
Kear loves money too much, couple of games a year plus his telly money may just sway him, unless hes using the speculation to pry more cash out of wakey

Sorry, I have yet to receive my red, White and blue blinkers I ordered from the club shop yet!! I ordered medium and they didn't have any!!!!!
Lazy journalism or worrying emergence of an old story? The Sun (not a reliable source of information, I know) had reported today that Wakefield's problems are mounting and that we threaten losing our coach. I hope this is lazy journalism, and know that JK has said he wants to take us to our new stadium etc. I also think he will want to work with this team he has put together, and that the England job is a poisoned chalice etc, but..... Is the Terry Newton thing just one more problem which he could do without, and something which could turn him towards the England job if it were offered? I really hope not, but was the reported "four hour meeting with directors" just about Terry Newton, or were other things discussed?
Word to the wise, buddy, since when did anybody take anything that The Sun wrote seriously. Complete utter tosh and just the kind of "sensationlist" bulldung that so-called comic would come out with.
Still, second in the league, new stadium plans submitted, unbeaten so far this season, doesn't sound like a coach in crisis to me.
