I have a season ticket for this year but still hope the club look at reducing the price of one and match day prices for this season.Hopefully the club will get this sorted quickly and sort out some proper marketing for the salford game. The Warrington game for me is the one we should really push though. It is live on sky so the perfect oppourtunity to show we mean business and get them talking about us for the right reasons.
I dont think we should be giving out bucket loads of free tickets though

£10 a ticket for salford game.. well advertised in town centre, local supermarkets/ large local businesses for the week running up to first home game would hopefully see a healthy attendence. There would be no good in offerring £10 tickets though if its not advertised correctly/well.

Thats a great idea we should make it some sort of themed party, maybe get everyone to wear shirts from their collections over the years. Invite as many past players as possible and as many junior teams from the district. Fill the ground to the rafters keep the average crowd up and give RFL oneless excuse to get rid of us

I agree we should do something for the Salford game. The old shirts idea is fantastic ! Back in the days when we were known as TRINITY ! I might still be able to squeeze into the 'British Coal' shirt with the red and white stripes on the shoulders from the late 80's :D

On the prices front - I would suggest under 16's get in for free. Anyone at school should be able to come along and watch the game for free and will hopefully enjoy the match and be tempted to come back.

Adults should get in for £10. I think we all agree £20 is way too much and I know for a fact a lot of my mates simply wont pay that much to come to BV.

If you have a few drinks before the game and a few after your looking at spending £40 every home game and that can be doubled on away days. Makes following the lads very expensive in this current climate.

£20 entry fee = 4500 - 5000 home gates.

I would take a guess at free under 16's and £10 adults = 8000+

Moving on away from just the ground - Maybe a move back into the town for the shop?
But this time selling, season tickets, match day tickets, and having offers plastered in the windows ??
Maybe offering gifts cards like Topman and other stores do... could go well for birthday and Christmas presents... Just a thought to attract more fans seeing it advertised day in day out in town.

When the city centre club shop closed after the christmas period James Elston apparently stated on Twitter that a new store was to be opened in the new Trinity Walk development. Anyone know if this still on the cards?

Personally I think we should have a big push on the woeful season ticket sales. At the shareholders meeting the other week, James Elston told us that we had only sold 600 season tickets, whereas HKR had sold 6000 !!.
Therein lies the root of our problem - we 'aint puttin' bums on seats (or feet on the terracin'), so why not slash the price of season tickets ??.
Yes, there will be us die-hard fans who have already paid full whack (it cost me over £400 to renew ours), but we are not the problem. The problem is with the "armchair fans" and the ones who have turned away from the club over the past few years. We have to give them some incentive to return, and I believe the biggest single stumbling block is the admission price....slash the season ticket prices to say £100 for adults, £50 for OAP's and £20 for kids, and then reduce match day admission to £10 adults, £8 OAP's, and £5 kids.
Then make the whole match day experience a day to remember, with improved entertainment, hospitality, etc etc, along with 110% effort from the players (we ask nothing more than commitment to the cause), and hopefully the crowds will come flooding back...we may be going out of Superleague, but let's go out with a bang and not a whimper, and show them what they are going to miss !!!!!

Great idea, suggested the same thing months ago, even emailed the old BOD, but with no reply, hopefully the new BOD jump on the idea and look at new revenue streams and badly needed income for the Club, £100 put me down for 2, even though i could only make half the games.... :ROCKS:

Got my season ticket last October but I would still like to see them sold a lot cheaper and match day tickets cheaper. I know I'm losing out individually but It'd be great to see BV full for it's last hurrah and a show of intent to the RFL.
