I would hope that Kienhorst may come to Wakey on the cheap if Leeds don't want him as I agree with earlier posts that we are too light in the backs. It'll come down to money though and we don't have it... Offload Trout in exchange for freeing up cash for Kienhorst?

I think we'll have a more competitive pack but let's not kid ourselves that we'll just be able to 'run over the top' of other teams with the quality forwards they have because we won't.

Try sign Elliott Kear aswell maybe? Both players give us some much needed SL experience in the back line which throughout the season (due to injuries/suspensions/off form) may be supported by Matt Ryan moving from second row to centre.

I think MC said we will be looking to loan a couple of players, but not as many as this season

It's good to see people talking about Keinhorst coming back next season, think after Leeds poor showing at the back end of the season, can't see him getting much game time there.
The squad maybe a little thin in the backs and as you point out its about money but it's only the back end of September, so no point blowing the little money we have on a cheaper panic buy.
Let's see how the season ticket sales go, which could lead to a better quality back being signed, well before the season starts.

things shaping up nicely for us
so great to be in a position where next years squad is nearly complete n the play offs not over

plenty of time to work out what positon hall n godinet will be playing in next year and if sammut will be playing for us

You've missed out Richie Owen, though I know it hasn't been announced yet I think, he's joined permanently for next season on a 2yr deal or so I am led to believe.

If as it suggests in the previous post that Owen has signed back with Cas on a two year deal then that's fine.

We need decent value backs at the right price and he probably wasn't. Did ok nothing more nothing less. Names already mentioned have the pace and could do just as well but at a fraction of the price. Looking forward to hearing about an experienced SL back signed to complete the squad hopefully.

I thought that he was implying that Owen had signed for us.

lets hope we can find another gem like Riley on loan for our missing winger position, being one of our most consistent player all year, got half his wage paid for by his parent club then signed for us! great work from MC
