It's hard to defend Hall who after a great start went down hill at a rate of knots - just like the team. On occasions it was hard not to despise what appeared to be utter incompetence mixed with a couldn't care less attitude. However finding out that he needs three close season operation including two hernias it does offer some mitigation.

So either he lied about his physical state as I doubt these issues were not there when he signed - or - we have the shoddiest medical checks around. Bit of both I suspect. Probably another lesson MC has had to learn the hard way.

If he gets fit and gets the right attitude he could be useful backup.

Vastman, yet again you state something as fact about not having seen Morris play, you will also remember that I broke the news of his signature. I have seen him play I also know people who have played with and against him. Vasty Morris will do well for us

I've no doubt but way better than the players you mentioned is just a step to far for a player of such little experience.

That said if you're right I'll gladly eat humble pie on this one as I think we agree with that our centre combinations have been very poor.

A rejuvenated Hall would be like a new signing, if he did have underlying injury issues then he deserves a 2nd chance. Clearly has the ability to do well for us.

Its a clean slate for all of them as far as I'm concerned, lets see what Brian Smith can shape with a full pre-season under his belt.

Vasty its no big thing to be way better than Tansey, Lyne and Arundel, you and I are better that Lyne for starters.
