I don't disagree with you in terms of his quality, but for me Wakefield need an experienced coach.
Webster and Agar proved that we are not the place for a first time head coach. We need someone who has some experience, even if at the lower level.
Kear and Morrison, and to a lesser extent Marshall and Harrison all fit the bill for me.
I guess it does depend on whether Smith talks well of us or lays into the setup we have. it may put the better applicants off .
