Sad news.

Great prospect who would have been on the fringes of the England World Cup squad in my opinion and takes the ball up like a second row forward. My lads favourite player.

Awful news for him but he's strong, fit lad with a good work ethic and if anyone can come back as strong it is him. In the meantime MCB is a very able deputy and we still have plenty of threequarter cover.

I'm gutted for the kid. He's a top class talent and was having a great season. Luckily he has time on his side and I'm sure he will be back next season better than ever.

Yes I am gutted for him too, especially having missed a fair bit of last year too. Hope all goes well and as fast as is possible

Just want to pass my best on to young Tom. A great prospect and I hope he makes a full recovery. Hopefully he'll be back stronger next year, I'd love to see him in an England shirt at some point. It's never good for any player to pick up an injury like that, but he has youth on his side and I'm sure he'll get the support he needs to get through.

Let's hope his speed isn't affected by the injury
