Conversely, rules are only rules when they're enforced. Why would any company spend money on something with no return unless they had no choice? The failure was in allowing them to think they had wiggle room.
The name of the developer is irrelevant, AFAIK the s106 obligation is tied to the planning and the land.
I think that by the rules of evolution and after 40 years of a stadium on the horizon, Trin fans are realists but eternal optimists. We remain hopeful but wait and see.
The current members of the trust, and SWAG before them, have done a sterling job, and their professional but persistent stance finally seems to be bearing fruit.
