Think there is a marketing opportunity for MC for whichever is the last game at Belle Vue if it is to happen that the great club leaves. He could put on a pre curtain raiser entertainment with a past players event etc...try and get some audio visual stuff going possibly.

Take a leaf out of the White Hart Lane farewell...it won't be as grand but I think the nostalgia the ground has it will pull in greater numbers with it being the last game there. The media may even buy into it....

Cas have always higher attendances then Wakefield apart from 2008 when Cas were in the 2nd tier and the season Wakefield gave season tickets away for a few coppers under Glover.

Wakefield's attendances are pitiful, but I'm sure you know that.

That's a great idea and the occasion should certainly be marked properly.
144 years shouldn't just pass by without marking the occasion.

I've a sneaky feeling this isn't gonna be our last season here, don't know why, I just have that feeling, but......If it is we ought to be getting into the Cribs to play, go out with a bang.

No they haven't. The last three years have, but a trip to Wembley always brings out the glory hunters.

It's definitely noticeable in Normy, all the Cas shirts appear brand new, families full of new shirts now worn by people that I've never known have any interest in rugby. But then again, if they keep coming back, who's to blame them?
